अव्ये वधूयुः पवते परि तवचि शरथ्नीते नप्तीरदितेरतं यते | हरिरक्रान यजतः संयतो मदो नर्म्णा शिशानो महिषो न शोभते

IAST Romanisation

avye vadhūyuḥ pavate pari tvaci śrathnīte naptīraditertaṃ yate | harirakrān yajataḥ saṃyato mado nṛmṇā śiśāno mahiṣo na śobhate

English Translation (Griffith)

He flows about the sheep-skin, longing for a bride: he looses Aditi's Daughters for the worshipper. The sacred drink hath come, gold-tinted, well-restrained: like a strong Bull he shines, whetting his manly might.
