Rig Veda 6.31.1
अभूरेको रयिपते रयीणामा हस्तयोरधिथा इन्द्र कर्ष्टीः | वि तोके अप्सु तनये च सूरे.अवोचन्त चर्षणयो विवाचः
abhūreko rayipate rayīṇāmā hastayoradhithā indra kṛṣṭīḥ | vi toke apsu tanaye ca sūre.avocanta carṣaṇayo vivācaḥ
Rig Veda 6.31.2
तवद भियेन्द्र पार्थिवानि विश्वाच्युता चिच्च्यावयन्ते रजांसि | दयावाक्षामा पर्वतासो वनानि विश्वं दर्ळ्हं भयते अज्मन्ना ते
tvad bhiyendra pārthivāni viśvācyutā ciccyāvayante rajāṃsi | dyāvākṣāmā parvatāso vanāni viśvaṃ dṛḷhaṃ bhayate ajmannā te
Through fear of thee, O Indra, all the regions of earth, though naught may move them, shake and tremble. All that is firm is frightened at thy coming, -the earth, the heaven, the mountain, and the forest.
Rig Veda 6.31.3
तवं कुत्सेनाभि शुष्णमिन्द्राशुषं युध्य कुयवं गविष्टौ | दश परपित्वे अध सूर्यस्य मुषायश्चक्रमविवेरपांसि
tvaṃ kutsenābhi śuṣṇamindrāśuṣaṃ yudhya kuyavaṃ ghaviṣṭau | daśa prapitve adha sūryasya muṣāyaścakramaviverapāṃsi
With Kutsa, Indra! thou didst conquer Śuṣṇa, voracious, bane of crops, in fight for cattle. In the close fray thou rentest him: thou stolest the Sun's wheel and didst drive away misfortunes.
Rig Veda 6.31.4
तवं शतान्यव शम्बरस्य पुरो जघन्थाप्रतीनि सस्योः | अशिक्षो यत्र शच्या शचीवो दिवोदासाय सुन्वते सुतक्रे भरद्वाजाय गर्णते वसूनि
tvaṃ śatānyava śambarasya puro jaghanthāpratīni sasyoḥ | aśikṣo yatra śacyā śacīvo divodāsāya sunvate sutakre bharadvājāya ghṛṇate vasūni
Thou smotest to the ground the hundred castles, impregnable, of Śambara the Dasyu, When, Strong, with might thou holpest Divodāsa who poured libations out, O Soma-buyer, and madest Bharadvāja rich who praised thee.
Rig Veda 6.31.5
स सत्यसत्वन महते रणाय रथमा तिष्ठ तुविन्र्म्ण भीमम | याहि परपथिन्नवसोप मद्रिक पर च शरुत शरावय चर्षणिभ्यः
sa satyasatvan mahate raṇāya rathamā tiṣṭha tuvinṛmṇa bhīmam | yāhi prapathinnavasopa madrik pra ca śruta śrāvaya carṣaṇibhyaḥ
As such, true Hero, for great joy of battle mount thy terrific car, O Brave and Manly. Come with thine help to me, thou distant Roamer, and, glorious God, spread among men my glory.
