चक्राणासः परीणहं पर्थिव्या हिरण्येन मणिना शुम्भमानाः | न हिन्वानासस्तितिरुस्त इन्द्रं परि सपशो अदधात सूर्येण

cakrāṇāsaḥ parīṇahaṃ pṛthivyā hiraṇyena maṇinā śumbhamānāḥ | na hinvānāsastitirusta indraṃ pari spaśo adadhāt sūryeṇa

English Translation (Griffith)

Adorned with their array of gold and jewels, they o’er the earth a covering veil extended. Although they hastened, they o’ercame not Indra: their spies he compassed with the Sun of morning.
