सतरीर्यत सूत सद्यो अज्यमाना वयथिरव्यथिः कर्णुतस्वगोपा | पुत्रो यत पुर्वः पित्रोर्जनिष्ट शम्यां गौर्जगार यद ध पर्छान

starīryat sūta sadyo ajyamānā vyathiravyathiḥ kṛṇutasvaghopā | putro yat purvaḥ pitrorjaniṣṭa śamyāṃ ghaurjaghāra yad dha pṛchān

English Translation (Griffith)

When suddenly called the cow that erst was barren, she, self-protected, ended all her troubles. Earth, when the first son sprang from sire and mother, cast up the gami, that which men were seeking.
