एते सोमाः पवमानास इन्द्रं रथा इव पर ययुः सातिमछ | सुताः पवित्रमति यन्त्यव्यं हित्वी वव्रिं हरितोव्र्ष्तिमछ

ete somāḥ pavamānāsa indraṃ rathā iva pra yayuḥ sātimacha | sutāḥ pavitramati yantyavyaṃ hitvī vavriṃ haritovṛṣtimacha

English Translation (Griffith)

These Pavamanas here, these drops of Soma, to Indra have sped forth like cars to booty. Effused, they pass the cleansing fleece, while, gold-hued, they cast their covering off to pour the rain down.
