तव दरप्सो नीलवान वाश रत्विय इन्धानः सिष्णवा ददे | तवं महीनामुषसामसि परियः कषपो वस्तुषु राजसि

tava drapso nīlavān vāśa ṛtviya indhānaḥ siṣṇavā dade | tvaṃ mahīnāmuṣasāmasi priyaḥ kṣapo vastuṣu rājasi

English Translation (Griffith)

Thy spark is black and crackling, kindled in due time, O Bounteous, it is taken up. Thou art the dear Friend of the mighty Mornings: thou shinest in glimmerings of the night.
