यत्रा नरः समयन्ते कर्तध्वजो यस्मिन्नाजा भवति किंचन परियम | यत्रा भयन्ते भुवना सवर्द्र्शस्तत्रा न इन्द्रावरुणाधि वोचतम

yatrā naraḥ samayante kṛtadhvajo yasminnājā bhavati kiṃcana priyam | yatrā bhayante bhuvanā svardṛśastatrā na indrāvaruṇādhi vocatam

English Translation (Griffith)

Where heroes come together with their banners raised, in the encounter where is naught for us to love, Where all things that behold the light are terrified, there did ye comfort us, O Indra-Varuṇa.
