पर वां स मित्रावरुणाव रतावा विप्रो मन्मानि दीर्घश्रुदियर्ति | यस्य बरह्माणि सुक्रतू अवाथ आ यत करत्वा न शरदः पर्णैथे

pra vāṃ sa mitrāvaruṇāv ṛtāvā vipro manmāni dīrghaśrudiyarti | yasya brahmāṇi sukratū avātha ā yat kratvā na śaradaḥ pṛṇaithe

English Translation (Griffith)

The holy sage, renowned afar, directeth his hymns to you, O Varuṇa and Mitra,— He whose devotions, sapient Gods, ye favour so that ye fill, as ’twere, with power his autumns.
