दधिक्रावाणं बुबुधानो अग्निमुप बरुव उषसं सूर्यं गाम | बरध्नं मांश्चतोर्वरुणस्य बभ्रुं ते विश्वास्मद दुरिता यावयन्तु

dadhikrāvāṇaṃ bubudhāno aghnimupa bruva uṣasaṃ sūryaṃ ghām | bradhnaṃ māṃścatorvaruṇasya babhruṃ te viśvāsmad duritā yāvayantu

English Translation (Griffith)

While I am thus arousing Dadhikrāvan I speak to Agni, Earth, and Dawn, and Sūrya, The red, the brown of Varuṇa ever mindful: may they ward off from us all grief and trouble.
