बराह्मणासो अतिरात्रे न सोमे सरो न पूर्णमभितो वदन्तः | संवत्सरस्य तदहः परि षठ यन मण्डूकाः पराव्र्षीणं बभूव

brāhmaṇāso atirātre na some saro na pūrṇamabhito vadantaḥ | saṃvatsarasya tadahaḥ pari ṣṭha yan maṇḍūkāḥ prāvṛṣīṇaṃ babhūva

English Translation (Griffith)

As Brahmans, sitting round the brimful vessel, talk at the Soma-rite of Atiratra, So, Frogs, ye gather round the pool to honour this day of all the year, the first of Rain-time.
