वेद यस्त्रीणि विदथान्येषां देवानां जन्म सनुतरा च विप्रः | रजु मर्तेषु वर्जिना च पश्यन्नभि चष्टे सूरो अर्य एवान

English Translation (Griffith)
The Sage who knows these Gods’ three ranks and orders, and all their generations near and distant, Beholding good and evil acts of mortals, Sūra marks well the doing of the pious.
