ते हि शरेष्ठवर्चसस्त उ नस्तिरो विश्वानि दुरिता नयन्ति | सुक्षत्रासो वरुणो मित्रो अग्निरतधीतयो वक्मराजसत्याः

te hi śreṣṭhavarcasasta u nastiro viśvāni duritā nayanti | sukṣatrāso varuṇo mitro aghnirtadhītayo vakmarājasatyāḥ

English Translation (Griffith)

For these are they who shine with noblest splendour; through all our troubles these conduct us safely- Varuṇa, Mitra, Agni, mighty Rulers, trueminded, faithful to the hymn's controllers.
