आसु षमा णो मघवन्निन्द्र पर्त्स्वस्मभ्यं महि वरिवः सुगं कः | अपां तोकस्य तनयस्य जेष इन्द्र सूरीन कर्णुहिस्मा नो अर्धम

āsu ṣmā ṇo maghavannindra pṛtsvasmabhyaṃ mahi varivaḥ sughaṃ kaḥ | apāṃ tokasya tanayasya jeṣa indra sūrīn kṛṇuhismā no ardham

English Translation (Griffith)

O Indra Maghavan, in these our battles win easy paths for us and ample freedom. That we may gain waters and seed and offspring, set thou our princes on thy side, O Indra.
