पाता सुतमिन्द्रो अस्तु सोमं हन्ता वर्त्रं वज्रेण मन्दसानः | गन्ता यज्ञं परावतश्चिदछा वसुर्धीनामविता कारुधायाः

pātā sutamindro astu somaṃ hantā vṛtraṃ vajreṇa mandasānaḥ | ghantā yajñaṃ parāvataścidachā vasurdhīnāmavitā kārudhāyāḥ

English Translation (Griffith)

May Indra drink this Soma poured to please him, and cheered therewith slay Vṛtra with his thunder. Come to our sacrifice even from a distance, good lover of our songs, the bard's Supporter.
