अस्य मदे पुरु वर्पांसि विद्वानिन्द्रो वर्त्राण्यप्रती जघान | तमु पर होषि मधुमन्तमस्मै सोमं वीराय शिप्रिणे पिबध्यै

asya made puru varpāṃsi vidvānindro vṛtrāṇyapratī jaghāna | tamu pra hoṣi madhumantamasmai somaṃ vīrāya śipriṇe pibadhyai

English Translation (Griffith)

In the wild joy of this hath Indra, knowing full many a form, struck down resistless Vṛtras. Proclaim aloud to him the savoury Soma so that the Hero, strong of jaw, may drink it.
