अस्मा एतद दिव्यर्चेव मासा मिमिक्ष इन्द्रे नययामि सोमः | जनं न धन्वन्नभि सं यदापः सत्रा वाव्र्धुर्हवनानि यज्ञैः

asmā etad divyarceva māsā mimikṣa indre nyayāmi somaḥ | janaṃ na dhanvannabhi saṃ yadāpaḥ satrā vāvṛdhurhavanāni yajñaiḥ

English Translation (Griffith)

As brightness mingles with the Moon in heaven, the offered Soma yearns to mix with Indra. Like water brought to men in desert places, our gifts at sacrifice have still refreshed him.
