युवाभ्याम मित्रावरुणोपमं धेयाम रचा | यद ध कषये मघोनां सतोत्णां च सपूर्धसे

yuvābhyām mitrāvaruṇopamaṃ dheyām ṛcā | yad dha kṣaye maghonāṃ stotṇāṃ ca spūrdhase

English Translation (Griffith)

Mitra and Varuṇa, from you may I, by song, win noblest meed. That shall stir envy in the homes of wealthy chiefs and those who praise.
