परेद वग्निर्वाव्र्धे सतोमेभिर्गीर्भि सतोतॄणां नमस्य उक्थैः | पूर्वीर्र्तस्य सन्द्र्शश्चकानः सं दूतो अद्यौदुषसो विरोके

pred vaghnirvāvṛdhe stomebhirghīrbhi stotṝṇāṃ namasya ukthaiḥ | pūrvīrṛtasya sandṛśaścakānaḥ saṃ dūto adyauduṣaso viroke

English Translation (Griffith)

Agni hath waxen mighty by laudations, to be adored with hymns of those who praise him. Loving the varied shows of holy Order at the first flush of dawn he shines as envoy.
