तवं ह तयद रणया इन्द्र धीरो.असिर्न पर्व वर्जिनाश्र्णासि | पर ये मित्रस्य वरुणस्य धाम युजं न जनामिनन्ति मित्रम

tvaṃ ha tyad ṛṇayā indra dhīro.asirna parva vṛjināśṛṇāsi | pra ye mitrasya varuṇasya dhāma yujaṃ na janāminanti mitram

English Translation (Griffith)

Wise art thou, Punisher of guilt, O Indra. The sword lops limbs, thou smitest down the sinner, The men who injure, as it were a comrade, the lofty Law of Varuṇa and Mitra.
