समानमस्मा अनपाव्र्दर्च कष्मया दिवो असमं बरह्मनव्यम | वि यः पर्ष्ठेव जनिमान्यर्य इन्द्रश्चिकाय नसखायमीषे

samānamasmā anapāvṛdarca kṣmayā divo asamaṃ brahmanavyam | vi yaḥ pṛṣṭheva janimānyarya indraścikāya nasakhāyamīṣe

English Translation (Griffith)

To him I sing a holy prayer, incessant new, matchless, common to the earth and heaven, Who marks, as they were backs, all living creatures: ne’er doth he fail a friend, the noble Indra.
