परिक्षिता पितरा पूर्वजावरी रतस्य योना कषयतःसमोकसा | दयावाप्र्थिवी वरुणाय सव्रते घर्तवत पयोमहिषाय पिन्वतः

English Translation (Griffith)
Born in the oldest time, the Parents dwelling round are sharers of one mansion in the home of Law. Bound by their common vow Dyaus, Prthivi stream forth the moisture rich in oil to Varuṇa the Steer.
