अभीव्र्तं कर्शनैर विश्वरूपं हिरण्यशम्यं यजतो बर्हन्तम | आस्थाद रथं सविता चित्रभानुः कर्ष्णा रजांसि तविषीं दधानः

abhīvṛtaṃ kṛśanair viśvarūpaṃ hiraṇyaśamyaṃ yajato bṛhantam | āsthād rathaṃ savitā citrabhānuḥ kṛṣṇā rajāṃsi taviṣīṃ dadhānaḥ

English Translation (Griffith)

His chariot decked with pearl, of various colours, lofty, with golden pole, the God hath mounted, The many-rayed One, Savitar the holy, bound, bearing power and might, for darksome regions.
