जगता सिन्धुं दिव्यस्थभायद रथन्तरे सूर्यं पर्यपश्यत | गायत्रस्य समिधस्तिस्र आहुस्ततो मह्ना पर रिरिचे महित्वा

jaghatā sindhuṃ divyasthabhāyad rathantare sūryaṃ paryapaśyat | ghāyatrasya samidhastisra āhustato mahnā pra ririce mahitvā

English Translation (Griffith)

With Jagatī the flood in heaven he stablished, and saw the Sun in the Rathantara Sāman. Gāyatrī hath, they say, three brands for kindling: hence it excels in majesty and vigour.
