विदा देवा अघानामादित्यासो अपाक्र्तिम | पक्षा वयो यथोपरि वयस्मे शर्म यछतानेहसो व ऊतयः सुूतयो व ऊतयः

vidā devā aghānāmādityāso apākṛtim | pakṣā vayo yathopari vyasme śarma yachatānehaso va ūtayaḥ suūtayo va ūtayaḥ

English Translation (Griffith)

O Gods, Ādityas, well ye know the way to keep all woes afar. As the birds spread their sheltering wings, spread your protection over us.
