महानादित्यो नमसोपसद्यो यातयज्जनो गर्णते सुशेवः | तस्मा एतत पन्यतमाय जुष्टमग्नौ मित्राय हविरा जुहोत

mahānādityo namasopasadyo yātayajjano ghṛṇate suśevaḥ | tasmā etat panyatamāya juṣṭamaghnau mitrāya havirā juhota

English Translation (Griffith)

The great Āditya, to be served with wor. ship, who stirreth men, is gracious to the singer. To Mitra, him most highly to be lauded, offer in fire oblation that he loveth.
