तव तयन नर्यं नर्तो.अप इन्द्र परथमं पूर्व्यं दिवि परवाच्यं कर्तम | यद देवस्य शवसा परारिणा असुं रिणन्नपः | भुवद विश्वमभ्यादेवमोजसा विदादूर्जं शतक्रतुर्विदादिषम

tava tyan naryaṃ nṛto.apa indra prathamaṃ pūrvyaṃ divi pravācyaṃ kṛtam | yad devasya śavasā prāriṇā asuṃ riṇannapaḥ | bhuvad viśvamabhyādevamojasā vidādūrjaṃ śatakraturvidādiṣam

English Translation (Griffith)

This, Indra, was thy hero deed, Dancer, thy first and ancient work, worthy to be told forth in heaven, What time thou sentest down life with a God's own power, freeing the floods. All that is godless may he conquer with his might, and, Lord of Hundred Powers, find for us strength and food.
