स इदग्निः कन्व्वतमः कण्वसखार्यः परस्यान्तरस्यतरुषः | अग्निः पातु गर्णतो अग्निः सूरीनग्निर्ददातुतेषामवो नः

sa idaghniḥ kanvvatamaḥ kaṇvasakhāryaḥ parasyāntarasyataruṣaḥ | aghniḥ pātu ghṛṇato aghniḥ sūrīnaghnirdadātuteṣāmavo naḥ

English Translation (Griffith)

This Agni is the best of Kaṇvas, Kaṇvas' Friend, Conqueror of the foe whether afar or near. May Agni guard the singers, guard the princes well: may Agni grant to us our princes' gracious help.
