वज्रेण हि वर्त्रहा वर्त्रमस्तरदेवस्य शूशुवानस्यमायाः | वि धर्ष्णो अत्र धर्षता जघन्थाथाभवोमघवन बाह्वोजाः

vajreṇa hi vṛtrahā vṛtramastaradevasya śūśuvānasyamāyāḥ | vi dhṛṣṇo atra dhṛṣatā jaghanthāthābhavomaghavan bāhvojāḥ

English Translation (Griffith)

The Vṛtra-slaver with his bolt felled Vṛtra: the magic of the godless, waxen mighty, Here hast thou, Bold Assailant, boldly conquered. Yea, then thine arms, O Maghavan, were potent.
