गौरमीमेदनु वत्सं मिषन्तं मूर्धानं हिंं अक्र्णोन मातवा उ | सर्क्वाणं घर्ममभि वावशाना मिमाति मायुं पयते पयोभिः

ghauramīmedanu vatsaṃ miṣantaṃ mūrdhānaṃ hiṃṃ akṛṇon mātavā u | sṛkvāṇaṃ gharmamabhi vāvaśānā mimāti māyuṃ payate payobhiḥ

English Translation (Griffith)

The cow hath lowed after her blinking youngling; she licks his forehead, as she lows, to form it. His mouth she fondly calls to her warm udder, and suckles him with milk while gently lowing.
