स हि पुरू चिदोजसा विरुक्मता दीद्यानो भवति दरुहन्तरः परशुर्न दरुहन्तरः | वीळु चिद यस्य सम्र्तौ शरुवद वनेव यत सथिरम | निःषहमाणो यमते नायते धन्वासहा नायते

sa hi purū cidojasā virukmatā dīdyāno bhavati druhantaraḥ paraśurna druhantaraḥ | vīḷu cid yasya samṛtau śruvad vaneva yat sthiram | niḥṣahamāṇo yamate nāyate dhanvāsahā nāyate

English Translation (Griffith)

He with his shining glory blazing far and wide, he verily it is who slayeth demon foes, slayeth the demons like an axe: At whose close touch things solid shake, and what is stable yields like trees. Subduing all, he keeps his ground and flinches not, from the skilled archer flinches not.
