पर वो महे सहसा सहस्वत उषर्बुधे पशुषे नाग्नये सतोमो बभूत्वग्नये | परति यदीं हविष्मान विश्वासु कषासु जोगुवे | अग्रे रेभो न जरत रषूणां जूर्णिर्होत रषूणाम

pra vo mahe sahasā sahasvata uṣarbudhe paśuṣe nāghnaye stomo babhūtvaghnaye | prati yadīṃ haviṣmān viśvāsu kṣāsu joghuve | aghre rebho na jarata ṛṣūṇāṃ jūrṇirhota ṛṣūṇām

English Translation (Griffith)

To him the mighty, conquering with victorious strength, to Agni walking with the dawn, who sendeth kine, be sung your laud, to Agni sung; As he who with oblation comes calls him aloud in every place. Before the brands of fire he shouteth singerlike, the herald, kindler of the brands.
